MISTI B. WILLS is a freelance theater director and educator working in Manhattan. Select NY directing credits include Off-Broadway: Tempest at La MaMa Etc. (Assistant Director) Twilight the Musical (Assistant Director) and In Search of Euphoria at New World Stages, Off-Off Broadway:  Afterlight (Cherry Lane Theater NY Fringe 09), The Drunken City (Jump for Joy Productions), Twelfth Night (Shakespeare's Sister Co), The Pearl Merchant and Songs for a New World (Threads Theater Company) Regional:  My Fair Lady (Forestburgh Playhouse), Thistleblossoms, A Thing of Beauty, a national tour of The Imaginary Invalid, and equity staged readings of:  The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Heidi Chronicles. Misti has assistant directed Karin Coonrod, Gabriel Barre and Scott Schwartz.  Misti holds a Master of Arts degree in Theater Education from Emerson College and is a certified K-12 performing arts teacher.  She has trained with Anne Bogart, Michael Mayer, David Mamet and Kristin Linklater.  She has been on the acting faculties of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the New York Film Academy and is currently an adjunct professor at Long Island University in Brooklyn.   Misti is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.  See resume section for more details.
